The ActionCOACH Award for Outstanding Excellence

We are looking for a company that excels across all areas of business practice. The Winner from each category is automatically entered into this Award. ActionCOACH will review each finalist for their outstanding achievements in business excellence based on a combination of each category criteria.

Prize: ActionCOACH will provide $5000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit the business needs of the overall winner.

1. THE GIO AWARD FOR BEST SMALL BUSINESS
   Are you a small business with between one and 20 employees that has grown rapidly and achieved two consecutive years of success? Your business will have a well established position in the market and have demonstrated its ability to innovate and adapt within a constantly changing business environment.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from GIO.
    
2. THE TRAVELSCENE CORPORATE AWARD FOR BEST MEDIUM BUSINESS
   Are you a medium business with between 21 and 200 employees? If you have maintained a strong position in the market and continue to grow due to strong management and strategic planning, this is your category! The successful entrant will have demonstrable success through revenue growth and market share.
   
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs, from Travelscene Corporate.
    
3. THE OPTUS AWARD FOR FASTEST GROWING SMALL BUSINESS
   Has your business grown rapidly in recent years by managing its expansion strategically? At the same time it must have monitored cash flow to facilitate the ongoing prosperity of the operations. Entrants must show strong profit margins for sustainable growth over the past two financial years.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from Optus 
   
   
4. THE ST GEORGE AWARD FOR BEST START UP BUSINESS
   This Award will recognise the entrepreneurial energies of those involved in establishing a new business in any field within the last four years. Only businesses, which have been established from 1st January 2005 onwards will be eligible to enter this Award. Judges will be looking for entrepreneurs who have shown strong growth, ingenuity, and street smarts in building their business in the last four years. Entrants must show submit annual turnover for the past two financial years.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from St George.
    
5. THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS AWARD FOR BEST REGIONAL BUSINESS
   More than 30 per cent of all small businesses are located outside the capital cities, and this Award recognises the enormous contribution that regional small businesses make to the nation. We are looking for innovative businesses that are making a contribution to their local community and excelling in their field.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs, from the National Institute of Accountants.
    
6. THE QUICKBOOKS AWARD FOR BEST RETAILER
   Are you a business that has grown and achieved success through retail sales ie: via a shopfront or online? The winner of this award will have delivered strong revenue and profit growth in recent years and will have developed a clear strategy for sustaining that growth. The winner will be a savvy entrepreneur with the ability to grasp business opportunities and convert these into sales.
   
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs, from QuickBooks.
    
7. THE CISCO AWARD FOR BEST TECHNOLOGY IN AN SME
   Does your business rely on constant advancements in technology to stay ahead of the rest or are you a business that is actually developing that technology? It may be technology you have created or adopted and improved. You will have to display the best working example of improvement in areas such as productivity, efficiency and customer service.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from Cisco.
    
8. THE SALESFORCE.COM AWARD FOR BEST E-BUSINESS
   With e-commerce causing rapid changes in the business landscape, we are looking for businesses that are surfing the e-business wave to build strong, sustainable and clever business operations centred on the online consumer. We invite applications from businesses that are reshaping the future of commerce with their novel offerings.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from Salesforce.com.
    
9. THE ADT SECURITY AUSTRALIA AWARD FOR BEST YOUNG GUN IN SMALL BUSINESS
   Are you an individual under the age of 30 who has developed a business from start-up? Have you nurtured your business from concept to reality and ongoing success? The Young Gun’s business must have been running for no less than one year.
    
   Prize: The winner of this award will receive $5,000 worth of products and/or services, tailored to suit their business needs from the ADT Security Australia.
