A new analysis of customer service ratings in Australia’s major states reveals suburbs with the largest number of satisfied customers, thanks to local businesses.

Local business directory and review platform TrueLocal analysed the number of five-star ratings on its platform given by customers to small local businesses located outside of CBD areas over the past 12 months.

In NSW it was Sydney’s West that proved to be at the top for customer service, with Castle Hill having the largest number of five-star ratings in the state (15.3 per cent of the top 10), and Penrith close at its heels (14.9 per cent). Not only did Castle Hill take the top spot in NSW, it was the leading suburb in the country for the most five-star reviews.

In Queensland, if you’re looking for top-notch service, head to Surfers Paradise or Southport, both of which had the most five-star ratings in the state (15.5 per cent and 13 per cent of the top 10 respectively). These were closely followed by Burleigh Heads, Capalaba, and Robina.

In South Australia, North Adelaide and Sailsbury claimed the majority of five-star reviews from customers (each with 13.3 per cent of the top 10). For five-star service elsewhere in South Australia, customers have nominated business in Prospect, Glenelg, and Morphett Vale.

In Western Australia, Joondalup and Rockingham came out on top for five-star ratings (each with 14.4 per cent of the top 10), followed by Osborne Park, Mandurah and Morley.

In Victoria, if you’re seeking first-class service, you’re most likely to find it in Berwick or Richmond, which shared the largest number of five-star ratings from happy customers in the state (each 12.8 per cent of the top 10).

TrueLocal Group Manager Ruth Trewhella said that businesses in these suburbs appear to have found the winning formula when it comes to customer approval.
