Small business owners are encouraged to complete the second annual Small Business Votes Survey to have a say in improving the services their business receives. By doing so, you’ll also go into draw to win an iPad.

The independent Small Business Votes Survey aims to aid small business owners who are seeking a better service from the banks, telcos and other service providers, as well as a change in small business focus.SmallBizVotes

The Small Business Votes research initiative was borne from the need to provide a voice to Australia’s small businesses. By completing this survey you have the opportunity to express your concerns and identify the issues that matter most to your future business. The collective findings of the Small Business Votes Survey will be presented to those organisations and providers that have an impact on the small business community.

“Small business makes up the largest employer group,” says David Parnham, a small business owner and organiser of the Small Business Votes initiative. “We collectively have the largest number of bank accounts, mobile services and more insurance policies than that of any other corporate business and/or large industry group. Together we hold more office space, smartphones, office software and equipment than any other, and yet we do not as a small business collectively harness this power.

“We’ll present your collective opinions to the key small business providers and help them serve you better with a view to greater profitability, reduced costs and more efficient and tailored products and services.”

By completing this the survey, which should take you no more than 15 to 20 minutes, as a thank you, you will go in the draw to win one of five 16GB iPads with WiFi and Cellular, valued at $679.

You can complete the survey now online by following this link, or printed version of the survey can be found in the newly published June print issue of My Business. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality.

The findings of the Small Business Votes Survey will be published in a future issue of My Business, ensuring all small businesses are kept informed of the results.
