With it becoming increasingly difficult to stay on top of key business travel trends, the regional arm of the Global Business Travel Association is hosting the first SME Business Travel Forum in Sydney later this month.

The business travel industry changing almost daily, and this is just one reason why business travel professionals decide to join the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA). Through participation in the global forum of travel management, GBTA encourages collaboration on six continents in over 30 countries around the world, and it’s growing.

GBTA Australia / New Zealand is the authoritative voice of business travel management in Australia and New Zealand and the industry's foremost organisation committed to the personal development of skilled travel professionals.

GBTA recognises that all businesses have differing business travel requirements and that’s why they’ve created sector-specific events for the Energy & Resources sector, the Government sector, and, now, the SME sector. The GBTA will be hosting the inaugural SME Business Travel Forum at The Langham Hotel in Sydney on July 23-24.

The purpose of this symposium is to provide small to medium size enterprise business owners with an understanding of what they need to do to establish or improve their internal travel programme. The symposium is designed to cover the main aspects of a travel programme, from the development of a travel policy, to the selection and implementation of travel booking systems.

Who should attend?
-       Travel and Procurement Managers responsible for travel.
-       Coordinators or executive assistants who look after travel.
-       Travel management staff including travel arrangers and bookers.
-       Supplier representatives in the sector.

By attending, delegates will have the chance to make new connections in an intimate environment and discuss topics key to their programs or products and services.
