The My Business Awards, an initiative of My Business magazine and ActionCOACH, have officially been launched for 2012.

The 2012 ActionCOACH My Business Awards are set to take place at The Hilton Sydney on the evening of Friday September 28.

While the full details are currently being finalised, this year’s My Business Awards will have a new, more detailed and fairer judging process than in previous years.

The My Business team will work with a panel of three business experts to develop a shortlist of five finalists for each category. Those experts will include My Business columnists, the CEO of the SME Association of Australia, Caroline Hong, representatives of industry associations and people with special experience relevant to each award category.

In the forthcoming May print issue of My Business we’ll announce entry details and deadlines for this year’s awards, so keep an eye out for that. And as we move forward we’ll continue to keep you updated on the 2012 ActionCOACH My Business Awards via our print magazine and our website.

But for now, companies interested in entering the awards are encouraged to start planning their entries into this year’s categories, which include:
-   ActionCOACH Award for Outstanding Excellence
-
The GIO Award for Best Small Business
-
Award for Best Medium Business
-
Award for Best Start-up Business
-
GIO Award for Women in Business
-
Award for Best Business Leader
-
Award for Best Employer
-
Award for Best Employee
-
Award for Best Growth Strategy
