ActionCOACH has opened a new Sydney hub as part of plans to expand its Australian presence.
The Australian chapter of global business coaching network ActionCOACH is readying for significant expansion after two strong years of sustained growth and is aiming to hit $30 million turnover by 2020.
Local ActionCOACH franchise, Business Coaching Sydney has moved to new premises in Sydney’s emerging business and technology hub North Ryde in anticipation of the next phase of growth.
The Mayor of Ryde Artin Etmekdjian and the local member of parliament, John Alexander were special guests at the office opening.
Founders David Carlin and Ben Fewtrell merged their separate business coaching practices 6 years ago and have grown from four staff to 25.
Speaking at the opening of their new offices last week, the duo forecast that by year end, their staff head count would treble to 60. Most of the new roles to be filled are in sales, marketing and business support.
“We have built this business using the strategies we teach our clients. We are living proof that coaching works and that if you work hard and believe in yourself you can achieve even your most outlandish dreams,” Fewtrell said.
The company is also looking at growing its world class Business Coach team, which currently consists of ten. All of their business coaches are ranked in the top 20 league of coaches’ globally within the ActionCOACH network.
As the group’s largest and most successful firm, the Australian franchise was awarded “Firm of the Year - Asia Pacific” in 2010.
The duo said their new premises represent the company’s move into a “whole new league of growth” and will be capitalizing on the new business opportunities in the area as well as supporting the growth of entrepreneurs across Sydney. “Like any small business we faced the same challenges of resources and money-or lack thereof- however, we have always focused on their plans and ensured we delivered great results for their clients,” the executives said.
ActionCOACH is the world’s leading coaching company with over 1,000 offices in 32 countries. Started in 1997 by Brad Sugars in Australia, ActionCOACH has helped thousands of business owners around the world turn their business into a profitable enterprise.
