Nominations are open for the Optus My Business Awards 2016, but time is running out, with only two more weeks to get submissions in.
The Optus My Business Awards is a prestigious national awards program which recognises the best businesses and individuals from across Australia.
The awards identify and celebrate Australia's most successful businesses across 24 categories, including industry-specific awards as well as honours for business leadership, customer experience, innovation and workplace culture.
Full details of the awards program are available on the My Business Awards website.
Editor of My Business magazine and director of Momentum Media, Phillip Tarrant, said the awards are a great opportunity for SME owners to be recognised and rewarded for their efforts.
“My Business has a long tradition of backing SMEs, and we are thrilled to support such an important part of the Australian economy,” he said.
“The Optus My Business Awards is a great opportunity to recognise excellence within the SME community and the determination of business owners and employees to deliver superior products, services and experiences for their customers.”
Previous award winners have gone on to become household name brands, including Boost Juice, Sumo Salad and Roses Only.
Winners have espoused the benefits to their business of being recognised as the best in their field, citing enhanced marketing opportunities and stronger relations with customers.
Submissions for all categories must be received no later than 5.30pm AEST on Friday 9 September 2016, with finalists to be announced early in October.
The glitzy black-tie ceremony will be held on Friday 18 November 2016 at Sydney’s Four Points by Sheraton, and hosted by popular comedian Vince Sorrenti.
