Last year, our former editor at MyBusiness, Adam Zuchetti, wrote, “We probably say the same thing at this time every year, but 2019 seems to have been such a long and trying year for so many.”
If only he knew what would unfold in 2020.
Even if he did know, there’s still eight days left to go in this year, so I feel like I’m speaking too soon. There’s a reason why the “2020 bingo card” became such a much-used phrase through much of this year.
In those eight days, MyBusiness will continue to publish throughout the holiday period with the exception of the public holidays, because who knows what might be crossed off on the bingo card in that time.
I won’t go through all of the historic events that happened in 2020, because the last thing anyone really needs is a detailed recap of this year. We’ve all lived and experienced the devastating consequences of those events.
What I will say is that MyBusiness continued to inform you on the most important developments while at the same time pivoting, navigating or doing whatever you needed to do to weather the storm and keep your business afloat. Against all odds, we have had our strongest year ever and it is you, the business owner, that made this possible. For your engagement and loyalty, the team at MyBusiness thanks you.
And on that note, the team at MyBusiness wishes you a wonderful holiday break with those that matter the most to you, and may we all do our darndest to make sure that the year 2021 doesn’t feel so long and trying.
