Peter Tracey


Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Partner in KPMG Enterprise and heads up the Penrith Practice. Peter’s area of expertise is in providing business and taxation advice to small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with a focus on building strong client relationships. Advice includes structuring for growth, setting up tax effective structures and advice around both Direct and Indirect Taxes. Approximately 90% of Peter’s client base are in Western Sydney. They cover a broad range of sectors including Manufacturing, Construction, Wholesalers, Retailers, Medical, Legal and Real Estate Services.

Prior to becoming a Partner of KPMG in 2017, Peter was a partner of Trace Business Advisors and Chartered Accountants, an accountancy practice which commenced business in Penrith in 1979.

Peter was born and bred in Western Sydney and has strong ties to the local community. He was a director of the McGrath Foundation for 10 ears and currently sits on the board of the Thorndale Foundation and The Adam Crouch Foundation.
