This award recognises the business that has most effectively driven growth and ensured success through exceptional customer service.
It is open to all businesses that have been trading for at least two full financial years, and is based on activities in the 2015-16 financial year.
To be eligible for this award, the business needs to have 200 employees or fewer as of 30 June 2016 and be registered in Australia (or respective state/territory) as a sole trader, a partnership, or an incorporated or listed business.
Submission criteria and requirements
Please answer the following questions (400 words max per question):
Detail your approach to customer service, and how this influences your customer interaction, business culture and recruitment/retention.
Describe the strategies you have used to increase your customer servicing capabilities. How they have proven effective? Use specific examples where relevant.
Outline how effective customer servicing has increased your new, repeat and referred business. Use specific examples, including evidence where relevant.
Explain the new tools or techniques you have integrated into your customer servicing capabilities, and the results they generated.
Highlight your greatest achievement in increasing your customer servicing capabilities, including evidence of success where relevant.
Outline your strategy – highlighting the aims, objectives and tactics – for developing/strengthening your customer servicing capabilities in the coming two years.
We also encourage entrants to submit an optional short video up to 30 seconds long answering the question, “What does business success mean to you?”
Please attach two references, testimonials or other sources of information (such as any financial or business metrics and/or statements, with supporting documentation such as audited statements and third-party independent data reports) to support your nomination.
