A New Zealand-founded, Sydney-headquartered business has scooped up a major gong in the global Facebook Innovation Spotlight awards.
Shuttlerock, a software content marketing platform founded in 2011, took out this year’s Creativity category in the annual awards – the only business from the southern hemisphere to be recognised in 2016.
The awards recognise Facebook’s industry partners that use the social networking site to deliver technologies and services that improve ease of access to, and distribution of, business content.
Shuttlerock's win was based on client results, uniqueness, scalability and market size, given that it now services more than 100 clients across Australia, Japan and the US.
“We’ve worked very hard to build a truly unique platform that lets organisations generate authentic photo and video content quickly and easily through a combination of innovative tools. We’re thrilled and honoured to receive this award as recognition of all that hard work,” said Shuttlerock COO Paul Bingham.
“It’s also an opportunity to recognise our fabulous clients, who have guided and supported us over the last four years as we’ve built the platform into a truly world-class offering. It’s pretty exciting to get this sort of validation from the biggest global player in social media.
“In addition, the award allows us to continue to build a strong partnership with Facebook itself, as the greatest power player in global digital marketing.”
As part of the win, Shuttlerock will share in $US500,000 worth of advertising credits and be profiled at two international advertising and digital marketing conferences: Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France and dmexco in Germany.
