The SME Association of Australia has released a new online survey and is encouraging SME business owners around the country to complete it to have their say on what they want from Government. By doing so, you'll go into the draw to win one of five $200 Officeworks vouchers to be used at any Officeworks store nationwide.
In the first half of 2014, the SMEAA board will be meeting with State and Federal Members of Parliament and several of the Small Business Commissioners throughout the country to understand their intentions in terms of the small business sector. Using the results from the survey, the SMEAA hopes to fairly and accurately represent the concerns of Aussie SMEs to government.
The SMEAA encourages all SME business owners and My Business readers to voice their opinions by completing this survey to enable the Association to obtain a solid view of the primary concerns, issues and ideas that the board can convey to government at all levels on behalf of members and the small business sector.
The survey, which is being conducted independently by long-term SMEAA member Stable Research, doesn’t take very long to complete, and can be completed here. The survey will remain open until Sunday April 20 and the results will be published in the May issue of My Business.
In other SMEAA news, the Association has formed a strategic alliance with Migration Alliance, with new SMEAA Chairman Craig West saying it was important that Australian SMEs embrace international business and that the relationship with Migration Alliance will provide better offerings to the members of both organisations.
