Brisbane-based small business ATechnology has been named as a finalist in two categories at the prestigious international 2015 Stevie Awards.
Established in 2000, ATechnology is a technology company that provides services and tools to help large organisations address their online and network related needs including specialised cloud hosting, networking and security, and web services. The company has made the shortlist in the ‘Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Services’ and ‘Business Development Achievement of the Year – Technology Industries’ categories in the ninth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
The winners will be announced at a gala banquet in Las Vegas on February 27. ATechnology is up against some stiff, much larger competition, but Managing Director Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann is delighted to be named a finalist.
“ATech is competing with US company Rackspace for ‘Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Services’, so we would appreciate the support from as many people as possible,” she said.
“ATech’s helpdesk is based in Australia, not offshore. Our local customers appreciate that we are 100 per cent Australian owned and operated. We are committed to giving better service than our customers expect every single time they interact with us. Our company culture focuses on the importance of excellent customer experience. This is ingrained in each employee starting from the first job interview, and reinforced during weekly training sessions.”
More than 1,900 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s Stevies, with finalists being determined by the average scores of 139 professionals worldwide acting as preliminary judges.
