Canon has announced that it is sending two of its representatives to the forthcoming SME Association of Australia Networking event in Sydney to present and further explain the findings of Canon's recently released independent Automate My Admin survey.
As we previously reported on here, Canon's independent Automate My Admin survey of 1,005 Australians revealed that office administration tasks are increasing year-on-year and are having a negative impact on staff productivity, with the majority of employees saying their current role had too much administration associated with it. According to Canon's research, conducted in September 2012, 58 per cent of employees believe their current role is overburdened with administration duties, while 63 per cent believe that administration is making them less productive overall
Following on from Canon's release of their Automate My Admin research, two Canon representatives will give presentations on the findings at the forthcoming SMEAA Networking event in Sydney, to be held at on Wednesday April 17 at Succession Plus headquarters on York St in Sydney's CBD. The presentations will also focus on how SME business owners can increase productivity in their workplace. This first SMEAA Networking event for 2013, which kicks off at 1730 with drinks and canapes, is free for all SMEAA Members, while non-members or guests of SMEAA Members can attend for a nominal fee. My Business readers are encouraged to get along to the event and meet the My Business and SMEAA teams.
