Nitro, Australian start-up success story and leader in document productivity, launched Nitro Pro 10, the latest version of its desktop offering. The development of Nitro Pro 10 continues Nitro’s innovation streak following its US$15m funding round in November 2014.
Nitro Pro 10 combines the richness of Nitro Pro with the flexibility of Nitro Cloud into an industry-leading document productivity solution that accelerates the way businesses create, prepare and sign documents; anytime, anywhere. It is available now in Australia, with a subscription service currently rolled out in the US.
“Nitro continues to transform the way the world interacts with documents,” said Sam Chandler, founder and CEO of Nitro. “This solution transcends competitive point solutions in PDF transformation and eSignatures to establish Nitro as a firm leader in document productivity, and the most innovative and disruptive competitor to Adobe Document Cloud.”
With a rich history in providing digital document solutions, Nitro currently helps more than 500,000 businesses around the world improve document productivity. Nitro continually searches for ways to help companies remove costly bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recently partnered with the PDF Association to survey more than 1,200 knowledge workers to gain insight into the document usage habits of the modern workforce. The survey found that the top document challenges are editing (55 per cent of respondents), reviewing and signing (31 per cent each), which are negatively impacting productivity.
Nitro Pro 10 bundles key cloud-based integrations from Nitro Cloud to overcome these challenges, including the capability to request and receive unlimited eSignatures on the desktop; online storage integrations with Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox; and online collaboration tools to share documents and provide feedback with online markup and commenting tools.
“Modern businesses are still constrained by a vital business tool they rely on many hours every day – documents,” said Sam Thorpe, director of product at Nitro. “In developing Pro 10, we worked closely with businesses across the spectrum, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, to deliver a completely new solution specifically designed to provide greater visibility and control over documents."
Nitro is the leader in document productivity, accelerating the way businesses create, prepare, and sign documents. Anytime, anywhere.
More than 500,000 businesses run Nitro, including over 50% of the Fortune 500. Nitro is the PDF software partner of choice for Lenovo, and our award-winning products, including Nitro Pro and Nitro Cloud, are used by millions of people around the world every month.
Australian-founded, Nitro is headquartered in downtown San Francisco with offices in Melbourne, Australia; Dublin, Ireland; and Nitra, Slovakia. One of the fastest-growing private companies in the world, Nitro is also a multiple Inc. 500/5000, BRW Fast 100, Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Software 500 award winner.
