Accounting software provider Reckon has confirmed that technical problems have hit some of its customers in recent weeks, and urged any users that still have problems to reach out.
As previously reported, Ron Lesh, managing director of BGL Corp, said that he had been experiencing problems with his Reckon software, which were restricting his ability to lodge BAS forms.
A spokesperson for Reckon has since confirmed to My Business that some users have faced problems similar to those experienced by Mr Lesh.
“Following our Reckon Elite March release, we discovered some users were experiencing issues with lodgement of BAS,” the spokesperson said.
“These issues were addressed in a subsequent release on April 18.
“We sincerely apologise for the impact this had on affected clients. Any clients still having issues after installing the latest version of Elite Tax should contact support.”
The spokesperson added that the company has also spoken directly with Mr Lesh to convey that the issues he experienced were addressed in the latest update.
It comes after some MYOB users were granted an extension on their quarterly BAS after technical problems emerged on a number of its products following scheduled system maintenance.
