The worker was employed as a Credit Applications Administrator with a business engaged in property management for commercial real estate assets. Initially she was a temporary contractor then moved to a fixed-term contract.
Six weeks before her contract was due to expire she emailed her employer giving notice of her resignation. She had raised allegations of bullying and asked for approval to work exclusively from home, and claimed that her employer’s failure to properly deal with her complaints and her request to work from home left her with no option but to resign.
