The Paid Family and Domestic Leave Bill has been introduced. This will have important repercussions for Australian employers.
The Albanese government introduced ground-breaking legislation into Parliament on 28 July 2022: 10 days of paid leave for victims of family violence. The new bill acknowledges that family and domestic violence is also a workplace issue impacting an employee's productivity, mental health, well-being, and safety.
My Business, in partnership with Domestic Violence NSW, conducted an exclusive survey of Australian businesses to help better understand experiences with family and domestic violence in the workplace and the resources needed to help support victim survivors and business owners.
We invite you to watch our free webinar with industry experts to review the results and learn what Workplaces should know about paid Family and Domestic Violence leave.
