When Co-Founders Kat Docherty and Joanna Ward started MAYDAY Recruitment with their friend Imogen Storie, they had one mission in mind – the care factor. Kat, Joanna and Imogen wanted to create a great place to work that delivered an unparalleled client and candidate experience.
MAYDAY Recruitment faced a number of issues when they first started out. One of the biggest was finding service and product providers they could trust, and absolutely believe in.
Over the last few years, the team have built up a great network of referrals and recommendations that they can now pass on to their friends who are also starting up recruitment agencies.
One of the biggest investments Kat and Joanna have made, and continue to make, in their business is training. MAYDAY Recruitment run weekly internal training sessions with their employees, as well as bringing in external trainers when needed.
