This correspondence can be used by all employers.
Commentary
This letter is designed to be provided to all employees prior to their attendance at employer Christmas party functions, in order to remind them of the employer's expectations concerning their standard of conduct and behaviour at the function. This is important as an employer could potentially be held vicariously liable for the conduct of its employees in certain circumstances.
It also provides important information concerning transport to and from the function in order to adhere to Work Health and Safety obligations.
